Weddings
The bagpipe holds the distinction of being one of the world’s oldest instruments, steeped in centuries of tradition. Renowned for its commanding presence, it has long been a symbol of ceremonial occasions, including weddings, adding a timeless and dignified touch to these special events.
“Our experience having Michelle play bagpipes at our Wedding was unforgettable! Prior to that special day, Michelle was personable and very good in regard to communication, answering all questions and providing a wide selection of songs. Our favorite was Amazing Grace. Many of our guest commented on how beautifully Michelle played.”
Michelle offers a diverse repertoire of tunes, ranging from lovely and unique slow airs for your processional to bright marches for a rousing recession. Additionally, she can provide prelude music before the wedding ceremony or perform during the receiving line and transition to the reception afterward. With the stirring melodies of the pipes, Michelle will add an unforgettable touch to your wedding day.

**Special Requests
Normally weddings are planned far enough in advance that I have time to learn special requested tunes. Not all songs will “fit” on the bagpipes because of its mode. There are only nine notes and no sharps or flats. I am happy to try to accommodate your requests!
